Finally! A useful application for sonographers! Ultrasound Protocols and Image Reference Handbook was created by a sonographer for sonographers. With 25 exams and over 430 high quality images, this application is an excellent resource for everyday use. While most ultrasound students will find this application to be an invaluable learning tool, it is also created with the experienced sonographer in mind. Radiologists and other physicians may also find this application to be helpful in their practices. No more looking up normal measurements in different books....no more wondering what protocols to follow for non-routine exams. Everything is right at your fingertips! No wireless connection needed!
This application includes exam protocols for most routine ultrasound exams and even some non-routine exams as well. Each protocol also has the associated normal measurements in one convenient location through the push of a button at the bottom of the screen.
Exam protocols included: complete abdomen, abdominal aorta, renal, transabdominal and transvaginal female pelvis, first and second trimester obstetrical, biophysical profile, thyroid, scrotal contents, penile non-Doppler, carotid, upper and lower extremity venous Doppler, upper and lower extremity arterial Doppler, renal transplant, renal artery Doppler, mesenteric ischemia, T.I.P.S., infant pylorus, infant hip, infant spine, neonatal brain, and appendix.
All of the exam protocols in this application meet or exceed the minimum practice guidelines set forth by the American College of Radiology and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine.
